The LetsPlayHistory.org Co-op is a no obligation sign-up system for cooperative wholesale production and purchase of hard-to-find historical items. Once enough interest is shown in a particular historical item in the Co-op, LPH will facilitate production of that item at wholesale for those on the list. Currently the Co-op has listings for historical items related to Thanksgiving and Native American Heritage Day, including pewter items, and imitation turtle shell bowls. (The LPH Co-op is not limited by time and place in history, and can serve any historical venue needed – inquiries welcome!)

.Native Clays (Instructional DVD), by Tony Soares

This is THE BEST historical how-to demonstration of Native clay pot making and firing that we’ve ever seen. Tony has done his homework and problem solving, and has answered some of the how-to mysteries almost lost in time. Although Tony focuses on the desert southwest style, the techniques demonstrated are still highly plausible for the pottery of early New England tribes.
Not available in stores (that we know of). You can purchase a copy by emailing artist Tony Soares directly at Native Clays [ at ] yahoo . com (remove spaces and brackets, add @ sign). You can also contact him through Myspace.com/NativeClays.

IdeasThanksgiving.com
The IdeasThanksgiving.com website was launched in 2009 to meet the needs of online “shoppers” looking for new Thanksgiving ideas. Unlike 3SunThanksgiving.com, there are no formal outreach programs associated with the website. The site does, however, offer some of the great ideas that never made it into the book, The American Patriot’s Treasury of Historical Thanksgiving Dinner Ideas.
